Christmas Caroling 2011
On December 29th 2011, our team at Sheltering Rock Ministries will once again go for village outreach to spread the spirit of giving this Christmas season!
We will go caroling with a twist!
Contrary to traditions we’re used to, we will instead hand a Christmas gift basket that’s full of gifts!
Please help us make this possible in painting a smile on each family’s faces by giving gifts of basic needs we’re aware they are in much need of such as cooking needs, laundry needs, and food supplies…
Let’s make each one feel that somewhere out there, they are loved and thought of -making them experience the warmth of Jesus’ love in small ways we can! After all, it’s the true meaning of this season!

The Christmas Checklist
Let’s see what will be slipped into each gift basket… Basing on the most basic needs of each household in the village, we decided to include in our Christmas list the following:
- Groceries: sugar, cooking oil, canned goods and matchsticks (most use firewood in cooking)
- Laundry needs: pale and laundry soaps
- New and used clothing
Depending on how much fund is raised up, we will be adding:
- Blanket for each household
- Cooking utensils
