About Us

Mission OutreachA department of The Jesus Church Christian Fellowship under the ministry leadership of Ptr. Andres Paran, the Sheltering Rock Ministries is tasked to raise funds for the mission efforts of the church and relief operations.

The pledges of every supporter and individual make possible the relief operations, the preaching of the gospel, and the message of salvation being heard by children, out-of-school youth, and indigenous families of far-flung villages of Benguet, Northern Philipppines.

The Jesus Church Christian Fellowship is regularly reaching out to the villages of Asin Tublay, Balluay Sablan, and Bagong Sablan. Nearby outreaches are Bahong and Wangal La Trinidad.

Outreach schedule to the villages is every week, however, due to the severely rugged road  leading to the remote village of Bagong Sablan, visit to the place is occasional.

Arrival to the villages takes an hour or two. Transportation is through a jeepney, a public utility vehicle, wherein about two of them are alternating moving people to and from the Benguet town. Going to the village in the morning riding a jeepney would have you waiting until near evening to catch a ride back to town.

Through God’s blessing, the church was provided with a jeepney for outreach use, making possible to reach two villages in a single day.

The Lord has faithfully providing gas expense every week through church offering from 60 regular members where around 70% of weekly offering is utilized for gas expense.

This has brought Sheltering Rock Ministries into existence, geared to focus on pledge drive to continue the expansion and making possible the mission efforts of spreading the Word, relief goods, and giving hope and putting smiles on the faces of the villagers.
